Ms Anchorage Formerly a
Hip 2 Be Square Barbie® doll. Ms Anchorage is a breath taking beauty that
has a complete facial repainting using the finest acrylic paints and
professional sealers available. Hand rooted eye lashes using synthetic hair.
100% original pattern, Haute Couture sewing technique and a twisted curl
hair style finishes the entire look. She was inspired by a special that Mr.
Dale saw on the Aura Borealis (Nothern Lights) skies of Alaska.
Charlie Dale has become known for, his upscale, elegant glamour and sleek designs in his doll making. A 2001 and 2002 Barbie® Bazaar Domestic Competition Entrant Mr. Dale prides himself in the techniques and glamour that makes his dolls and true master piece. This one of a kind creation features elaborately embellished gown which is made out of deep blue Antique satin and contains thousands of Iridescent and blue faceted sequins, Blue and Purple Czech Glass Seed Beads all painstakingly hand sewn into place. Her opulent gown is also fully lined in the same deep blue Antique satin material as the shell of the dress. Her dress also comes with a tulle underskirt made of antique tulle. Ms. Anchorage's sophisticated bodice is made entirely of antique tulle and has matching Czech Glass Seed Beads sewn onto it. The sleeves of the bodice are accented with exquisite lined Petal cuffs using the same deep blue antique satin for the shell of the dress. This ensemble is then made even more dramatic by adorning the petal cuffs at the wrist. and at the very hem of the cuffs using the same seed beads and sequins that are used throughout the rest of the gown. Delicate seed beads accent the strikingly beautiful color of the bodice. Ms Anchorage comes with a signed Certificate of Authenticity stating that this doll is a OOAK, sash, doll stand, and an autographed artist box. |
